While we live a few miles up the hill, we love spending time in downtown Havre de Grace — grabbing coffee, enjoying a meal, strolling along the water, and browsing local shops. Below are a few of our favorite spots: • Concord Point Coffee – our go-to spot for a great cup of coffee • Coakley’s Pub – a laid-back local favorite • Seneca Cannery Antiques – we can spend hours here! • Havre de Grace Promenade – a beautiful boardwalk along the Chesapeake Bay • Concord Point Lighthouse – an iconic waterfront landmark
Susquehanna State Park
For those who love the outdoors, take a stroll through the nearby state park along the Susquehanna River. With scenic waterfront views and wooded trails, it’s the perfect place to unwind — and you might even spot bald eagles soaring above the river.
Hopkins Farm Brewery
This brewery is just a mile and a half from our house and one of our favorite local spots. The taproom and outdoor space have a beautiful rustic feel and are perfect for relaxing with a drink.
