Where should we book our stay?

Answer

Since all of our wedding festivities will be held at Marival Distinct, we kindly ask that guests stay at the resort during the wedding weekend. Having our loved ones together in one place will make the experience even more special and helps us fulfill our venue requirements. We can't wait to celebrate with you and enjoy a fun weekend together!

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

The best airport to fly into is the PVR Airport also known as Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport.

What's the best way to get to the resort from the airport?

Answer

You can either take a taxi or schedule a shuttle through the resort. We can also help coordinate transportation for you. Once you land you will go through Immigration and Customs. When you have passed through Immigration and Customs, you will walk through a long hallway to the Exit. At the end, you will find two electric sliding doors that will take you to the Arrivals Lounge, please DO NOT stop to talk to anyone before passing through these doors just keep walking to the Exit (There are aggressive timeshare sales people offering rides). Once you are outside you will find taxi drivers and pre arranged shuttle drivers.

Do I need Pesos?

Answer

No, you don’t need pesos, U.S. dollars are accepted. There is an ATM at the airport where you can withdraw pesos if needed. It’s best to take out as much cash as you think you’ll need for your stay or for souvenirs, as you’ll typically get a better price when purchasing souvenirs on or off the resort using pesos.

Is tipping required on the resort?

Answer

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is greatly appreciated by the resort staff. It’s a thoughtful way to recognize good service, and small tips can have a big impact (We recommend bringing smaller bills 1's and 5's).

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held outdoors.

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and guest count limitations, we aren't able to accommodate all children at the wedding. If your child is not listed on the invitation, we would still love for you to enjoy the resort together as a family we simply ask that they not attend the wedding festivities. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
