If you’re planning on using a ride-shares service, please double check when you put in the parking location (Snow Line Orchard) as some ride-share apps will take you to the main road instead which is incorrect. A good address to use that will take you near the parking lot is the crossroads of Green Lane and Pine Street. If you are driving yourself and using GPS, it should take you to the correct parking location if you use Snow Line Orchard as the destination.
Please RSVP by June 1, 2025.
Please arrive at the ceremony early 45 minutes - 1 hour in advance. A shuttle will pick you up from the parking lot at a designated location and drop you off at the venue, which is a few minutes down the road. The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm and the shuttle will cease operations during the ceremony. Due to the nature of road (unpaved, on an incline, surrounded by forest) we do not recommend walking to or from the parking lot to the venue. There will be activities, a guest book signing station, a photo station, and light refreshments available to occupy your spare time prior to the ceremony.
Parking will be at Snow Line Orchard, 39400 Oak Glen Rd, Yucaipa, CA, 92399.
No way! However we do have some recommendations for attire. This will be an outdoor summer wedding located in the forest, so it will likely be warm during the day and cold in the evening. Due to this, we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for the evening. The wedding will be located on a sloped grassy lawn, so for women we strongly suggest avoiding stilettos or any heels that could sink into grass or make walking difficult. Flat shoes or sturdy block heels/wedge heels are recommended. The attire will be semi-formal to formal. Lastly, please don't be influenced by Galadriel's attire in the Lord of the Rings trilogy to wear white, as white/ivory/cream is strictly reserved for the bride. :)
All of our decor takes direct inspiration from the movie trilogy. We will also have some activities inspired by LOTR, along with some music and potentially even some characters! We want to throw a party worthy of the Shire. However, we aren't asking our guests to dress up in movie attire - please just wear your favorite classic wedding attire. We don't want to confuse you with any hobbits or elves that may show up!
Unfortunately, as much as we'd love to invite all of our friends' children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. Those children are specifically noted on the invitations. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.
Yes! We eloped on February 10, 2024 with only our immediate family members present to witness. However, we still wanted to celebrate our union with all of our loved ones! We will be performing a second ceremony followed by a reception on this occasion.
