FAQs

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Our venue is tucked deep in the beautiful Big Bear woods! To get to us, you will drive 3.5 miles up a bumpy, narrow dirt forest road called Polique Canyon Rd. While four-wheel drive is not required and standard cars can make it just fine, you will need to drive slowly. Please allow a full 30 minutes just for this dirt road section of your drive so you can travel at a comfortable pace and arrive in time for the ceremony!

Question

Will I have cell service at this venue?

Answer

Please be aware only Verizon has service at Holcomb Valley Ranch.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! We would like to celebrate with your entire family.

Question

Can we bring our dogs camping with us?

Answer

No, the bride and the groom would like to ask all to leave their dogs at home.

Question

Do the campsites have full hookups?

Answer

No, this venue only offers dry camping spots. We recommend bringing a generator.

Question

Can we have a campfire?

Answer

Due to being in the forest fire prone area, there are strict fire rules that all campers must be aware of. We are only allowed one campfire for our entire camping party. If you would like your own campsite to have a source of warmth, you are allowed to bring a propane fire.

Question

How large of a trailer or motorhome can we bring?

Answer

The road up to the campsite is fairly windy and narrow with tight turns. If you will be towing or driving a motorhome, the bride and groom recommend only bringing trailers and motorhomes 28 feet or smaller.

Question

What do I do if I have additional questions about camping?

Answer

We understand that camping adds another layer of logistical planning. If you have any questions about camping policies at all, please reach out to the bride, groom or parents of the couple. We will be happy to give you additional information. We would love as many people to camp as possible!
