It all started one fall day at Tarleton State University. Kaden was still in high school, touring the campus to get a feel for college life. Jayson was already a student there, just going about a normal day — until a completely random encounter changed everything. There was no big moment, no dramatic movie scene — just a simple meeting that somehow stuck with both of us. Something felt easy, natural. We didn’t know it then, but that day planted the seed for something much bigger than either of us imagined. Our first official date came not long after. We went to Rodeo Goat in Fort Worth, and from the first few minutes, it felt right. The conversation flowed like we’d known each other forever. We laughed — a lot. After dinner, we walked over to Sundance Square, where the Christmas lights were up and the big tree lit the whole plaza. We snapped a picture together in front of it — our very first photo, and one we both still love. That night, something clicked. We both felt it. We didn’t say it at the time, but we knew. We were falling in love. Since that night, our relationship has grown in the most natural way. Laughter has always been the heart of who we are. Whether it’s the middle of the day or two in the morning, we’re usually being goofy, cracking jokes, or laughing at something ridiculous. That’s always been us — finding joy in the little things, together. Our love didn’t come with drama or games. It came with comfort, laughter, support, and the kind of friendship that just makes life better. We’ve grown together, cheered each other on, and shared so many moments that have only made us more sure of what we’ve found. From a random moment on a college tour to building a life full of love and laughter, our journey has been unexpected, beautiful, and so completely us. Now, we’re stepping into the next chapter — and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you who’ve supported, encouraged, and loved us along the way.
