Sh*t Just Got Real!

13 is where it all began. We were 13 years old when we first met. 8th grade, Wilde Lake Middle School. I was the new girl at school and Deem… well Deem was Deem. (Those who know, know that he will always be himself 😂) Anywho, back to our story. It was my first day going to a new school…if you let him tell it I looked lost when I got onto the school bus, so he offered for me to sit next to him. (but I was denied of the window seat because that was his spot lol) We talked and clicked instantly! Deem was my first friend when my family moved to Columbia, my first kiss, the only boy my parents ever allowed in my room, he’s the one who I stayed on the phone with for hours at a time. Kadeem is the one who I didn’t know was “my one” until life took us in different directions but brought us right back. Once I graduated from high school in 2007 we lost touch. Life took us on separate paths. But 13 years later in 2020 a Facebook comment sparked a conversation between us that would turn into us reconnecting and being together daily, bringing us to today. Kadeem and I started building our foundation on friendship. Our friendship turned into us being best friends. From best friends we fell in love. That love then turned into something we both agreed we never want to let go of. That is why the 13th of October 2023 will be “OUR” day to celebrate our infinite love story.
