In August of 2021, Kadeeja Rivers opened her phone to the tinder app & saw that she had been "super-liked" by Kristian Barclay. She scrolled through his pictures of him going fishing & taking dog selfies with fur-baby, Boss. She fell for his sweet smile and decided to meet him after work that same week. They had their first date drinking Long Island ice teas at Little Woodrows, playing connect four & the rest was history. Since their journey together started, Kris has been promoted to a Director Level Position at Dove Tail Co. Kadeeja has become a Labor & Delivery nurse as well as a flight attendant. Kris has started participating in the Baha'i 19-day fast & Kadeeja has started celebrating Christmas. Together they have survived the ups & down of Houston living & have championed home ownership through both Gulf Coast Hurricanes & The Texas Winter Storm. They have adopted 4 beautiful chicken babies & plan to keep expanding their family. But first things first...marriage.
