Getting to Catalina

**Important Notice** Catalina Express tickets are now available for August. We recommend reserving your express tickets as soon as possible as spots fill up quickly. Santa Catalina is one of California’s Channel Islands and lies 22 miles southwest of Los Angeles. We recommend flying into LAX and catching an Uber or taxi to one of the Catalina transportation services listed below. Travelling by boat to Catalina will take up to an hour depending on which port you leave from. While more expensive, a helicopter ride from Long Beach to Catalina will only take 15 minutes and provide magnificent views of the island.
