Our wedding celebration will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026. We recommend at least a 3-night stay to fully enjoy the resort and the festivities, though some guests may opt for a longer stay. Adam and Katie will arrive on Wednesday, January 28 and will remain at the resort for their honeymoon.
The dress code is "semi-formal" as described here: https://destinationweddingdetails.com/beach-wedding-attire-tips.html (Men's suit jacket is not required)
Here are some things we've found in the discussion groups. (We'll continue to update this list as we learn new information!) - Past guests often recommend the club level rooms if your party is over the age of 18. - Consider bringing tip money. Past visitors recommend $25-$50/day. - Past guests have reported that the floor tiles are very slippery! We recommend bringing shoes that have a good grip. - The hotel has filtered water throughout, but the tap water is unfiltered and not safe to drink. Please make sure to use bottled water when doing things like brushing your teeth.

Essential Travel Instructions: Entry Requirements for the Dominican Republic (DR) To ensure a smooth arrival and departure from the Dominican Republic, please review these mandatory immigration requirements well in advance of your travel date. 1. Mandatory Documentation: Passport Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in the Dominican Republic. While this is the official requirement, we highly recommend checking the specific validity rules of your airline and country of origin (many recommend validity for 6 months beyond the travel date). 2. The E-Ticket — MANDATORY The Dominican government requires all travelers (both foreign and Dominican) to complete a single, unified digital form, known as the E-Ticket, for both entry (Immigration and Customs) and exit. Key Requirements: What it is: The E-Ticket replaces the paper International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms, Customs Declaration, and Traveler's Health Affidavit. When to Complete: The form must be completed no more than 72 hours before your arrival and again before your departure from the DR. Process: You will receive a QR code upon completion. This code must be saved and shown to officials upon arrival and departure. You do not need to print it; saving a digital copy is sufficient. Official Link: The official platform for completion is [https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/]. 3. Customs Declaration You will use the same E-Ticket process to declare any goods you are bringing into the country. Please review the DR Customs regulations regarding restricted or taxable items before your departure. 4. General Tips Completion Time: Complete the E-Ticket as close to the 72-hour window as possible, but definitely before you check in for your flight. Families: If traveling as a family (up to 7 people), you can complete one combined E-Ticket application, but each person must be listed. Keep the QR Code: Save the final QR code image to your phone's photo library (or take a screenshot).
