FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kacy Willis and Tucker Sullivan
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire. Light suits, sport coats, dress shirts with slacks, cocktail dresses, and floral or flowy dresses are perfect. Although the reception will be indoors, our ceremony will be held outside. So dress to impress — comfortably.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:15 PM. Please arrive no later than 4:00 PM to allow time for parking and entering the venue.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we decided to keep our wedding an adults only event.

Question

Can we take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us for an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away so everyone can be fully present in the moment. We’ve hired a photographer to capture all the special details. Once the ceremony concludes, you're welcome to take and share as many photos as you’d like!

Question

Is there anything I should know about the venue?

Answer

Hollis Garden has seating for about 72 guests, and we’re expecting around 100–120 to attend. Some guests may need to stand during the ceremony. While we know this isn’t ideal, we promise to keep the ceremony brief! Reserved seating will be available for immediate family, and we encourage everyone else to find a spot that feels comfortable.

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Lakeland is directly between Tampa and Orlando. We prefer the Tampa airport, but Orlando works too! Both airports are about an hour away, depending on traffic.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are a few downtown options close to the venue. However, we'd recommend The Terrace Hotel because you can walk to the venue, and it offers the most options for restaurants, coffee, bars, etc. You can find all hotel info under the Travel section of the site. Airbnb is also a great option! Houses near Lake Mirror (downtown), Lake Morton, or Lake Hollingsworth are within 5-10 minutes from the venue.

Question

Is there anything to do late night in downtown Lakeland?

Answer

There are a few bars and restaurants that stay open late. Our venue is within walking distance to Revival, Vasco61, Molly's Irish Pub, The Rec Room, and Linksters. Most of these stay open until 2:00am. Also, check out the "Things to Do" section of the website for a list of some of our favorite spots.
