Our RSVP deadline has been extended to October 12th. We understand that our wedding invitations went out later than planned, so we want to ensure all our loved ones have ample time to respond. What’s the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is an opportunity to dress up and celebrate! We're requesting formal attire or black tie optional, with semi-formal options welcome. Since our wedding is in November and will be entirely indoors, we recommend layers and elegant, season-appropriate clothing. One important note: please avoid wearing white, as that's reserved for the bride.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at Ivy Black. We have designated handicap spaces that we kindly ask guests to reserve for those with mobility needs. Please note that the parking lot is located a short distance from the venue, so we recommend allowing extra time to walk across the gravel lot and along the path to the building.

What time should I arrive

Answer

To ensure a smooth start to our ceremony, please arrive by 2:30 pm. This will give you ample time to park, enter the venue, and comfortably find your seat before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 pm. The venue doors will open at 2:30 pm to welcome guests.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We warmly welcome children to our wedding celebration, but we kindly suggest treating this as a special date night for parents. While we adore kids and understand the challenges of finding childcare, we request that any children present be well-behaved during our intimate ceremony and family dances. Just a playful heads-up: after 7:30 PM, the DJ's music might become a bit more adult-oriented, so plan accordingly!

Are we allowed to smoke on the premises?

Answer

Our venue maintains a strict no-smoking policy within the facility. A dedicated outdoor smoking area is available for guests who wish to use cigars, cigarettes, or vapes. Please note that smoking inside the venue will result in a fine imposed by the property owner. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us preserve the beauty of the space.
