Question

What is Garden Formal Attire? What is Garden Formal Attire?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to dress in elevated formal attire, suitable for an elegant fall ceremony held outdoors. Think midi or long dresses for ladies and suits with ties for men. Fall in the South is very temperamental. Prepare for a heatwave or a cold snap... and a possible mid-day hurricane while you're at it. For ladies: long or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or evening separates. Block heels or dressy flats are ideal just be mindful of walking in the garden courtyard and climbing those treacherous Savannah historic steps later in the night. Feel free to glam it up, ladies! For gentlemen: suits or tailored trousers with a coordinating jacket and collared shirt. Ties are strongly encouraged. Warm-toned leather dress shoes or polished loafers complete the look. Please no denim, sneakers, or casual attire. To help create a beautifully cohesive celebration, we invite you to draw inspiration from our wedding colors featured on the details card that came with your invitation.
