FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00pm. Please give yourself and your family at least 10 minutes to get from the parking lot at the venue to the actual ceremony site. There will be transportation from the parking lot to the site, or you may choose to walk, which should take about 5 minutes. Either way, please expect to arrive earlier than 4:55pm so all guests are seated when it is time for the ceremony to start.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are not fancy people. However, it is a wedding! Somewhere in the business casual range would be appropriate. The ceremony and reception are outdoors—with the reception being a covered area. There is a lot of grass, so please wear comfy shoes. After the sun sets, there may be a cool breeze. We hope this goes without saying, but please do not wear white!

Question

What will your wedding day time-line look like?

Answer

Please refer to the schedule page for further details.

Question

What about Plus-Ones and Children?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate plus-ones beyond those listed on your wedding invitation. If your invitation is addressed to a household (e.g. "Smith Family"), please search your last name on the RSVP page to see who is listed. This is an adults-only wedding with a few exceptions for close family members. We love your children, but we are unfortunately limited by our venue capacity. Those listed on the invitation are welcome to attend!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Go to our RSVP page on our website. Type in your first and/or last name and click search. Let us know if you can make it or not and click submit. Please RSVP by April 19, 2025.

Question

Directions??

Answer

Due to the 2024 flooding in the area, some maps may show Spivey Mountain Road as closed. However, this road is open and safe to use. If you're having trouble accessing directions, refer to the directions below. From I-26, take exit 43, and turn right onto Temple Hill Road (TN-19W South). Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach Spivey Mountain Road on your left. Follow Spivey Mountain Road to Glamping Retro (on the right) at 2394 Spivey Mountain Road, Erwin, TN 37650
