When Gabe and I met, we both were working at Home Depot. We knew of each other, but didn’t really talk unless it was work related. A couple months went by and every time we would run to each other we would say hi back-and-forth and that was it until one day I came into work and Gabe was standing at the edge of the lumber aisle, and he said hey how was your day? I would respond it was good and I would ask him the same and I would walk back to clock in for work. I didn’t think of much at the time but Gabe did this for a couple of months and I was too oblivious to notice until one day. He asked me the same question how was your day and I replied it was good and then asked him why every time I would come into work, he would be standing there not working he laughed and I just remember him saying well I just want to make sure you are having a great day and smiled.
