COVID-19 Updates

The Wedding Website of Michelle Mattar and Kacey Wimpy
In light of COVID-19, we wanted to let you know our wedding is going forward as planned. If you're no longer able to attend, we completely understand. You can update your RSVP anytime on our site, and we wish you health and safety during this difficult time.
Question

What steps will be taken to allow for social distancing and ensure everyone's safety is a top priority?

Answer

- The venue will be providing an environment to allow guests to comply with the social distancing requirements, specifically assigned seating and enough spacing in the venue for guests to social distance. It is the guests’ responsibility to adhere to social distancing requirements - Venue is operating at 50% capacity - Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outside, with plenty of space for social distancing - Ceremony rows will be placed 6 feet apart - Reception seating has been lowered to only 6 guests per table - All venue/vendor staff will be wearing masks for the duration of all events

Question

How will other guests know that I am choosing to keep my distance?

Answer

Upon arriving at the venue, you will see a table with three signs and baskets of colored wristbands. The signs will be as follows (picture above) - Green: "Okay with hugs and high fives" - Yellow: "Okay with talking but not touching" - Red: "Hello, I'm keeping my distance" We ask that you please choose whichever wristband fits your level of comfort and that you acknowledge other people's wristbands and respect their distancing decisions throughout the evening.

Question

Ma Maison Waiver of Liability

Answer

Ma Maison is currently requiring all guests to sign and return a waiver of liability 48 hours prior to the wedding. We will be sending this document out via email once we receive your RSVP.

Question

Will I be required to wear a mask?

Answer

Guests will be required to wear a mask when getting food/cake and when approaching the bar

Question

Our ask of all guests

Answer

While we would love to share our big day with all of our loved ones, if you are feeling ill or feel that you have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, please do not attend. We will miss you but will look forward to celebrating with you another time! We understand that this is a very difficult time for everyone and if you make the decision to not attend, we will fully respect and understand your decision.

For all the days along the way
