Kacey is a soon-to-be Doctor of Philosophy in microbiology. She aspires to be a college professor where she can inspire young people, especially women, to pursue science and technology careers. Kacey loves to stay active at the gym and is an avid thrift store shopper. Her number one bucket list adventure is to ride all of the roller coasters in the United States.

Jacob is an elementary school teacher currently teaching the third grade. He has found a passion for teaching over the last few years at the Miami Children's Museum Charter School. With a background in biology his favorite subjects to teach are science and mathematics. Jacob enjoys all things outdoors and spending time out in nature. Lifelong hobbies include fishing, soccer, and a love of movies.
Morgan Brown

Kacey's older sister Morgan has always been the first person Kacey turns to when she's looking for advice. And, although they don't always see eye-to-eye on some things (fashion and music to name a few!) Morgan is Kacey's number one confidant. Kacey will always cherish the "sleepovers" they used to have growing up when Kacey would sneak in to Morgan's room to stay up late gossiping. Kacey is proud to call Morgan not only her sister but also her best friend.
David Wilson

David and Jacob have been lifelong friends since meeting in the 6th grade. They have spent countless hours seeing movies over the years which led to even longer discussions about those films. David has always been a friend Jacob could rely on - be it a workout partner or someone to talk to. Regardless of how far apart they have lived they have always stayed close friends and been there for one another. He has been a steadfast friend for more than 15 years.

Although Kacey didn't know it then, when she met Kathleen in kindergarten she was meeting a lifelong friend. Kathleen has supported Kacey throughout every phase of their lives and Kathleen's family has welcomed Kacey as one of their own. From swimming, lifeguarding, and endless slumber parties, Kacey could not have asked for someone who understood her better than Kathleen.
Brian Clarkson

Brian and Jacob met their freshman year of college. Whether it was playing "Just Dance" in someone's dorm room, going to the gym, or absurdly late nights playing video games they were always having a fun time. Along with some other good friends they shared an apartment the last couple years of college. Brian was then subjected to probably an unreasonable number of small pranks on Jacob's end. The fact that he never throttled Jacob for them shows how good a friend he truly is!
Chynna Hendricks

Chynna and Kacey met at the University of Miami and have been close friends since day one of graduate school. Throughout the years Chynna has remained Kacey's closest friend in Miami. Chynna is Kacey's go-to girlfriend and is always down to hangout or go to fun outings. They go on walks together weekly and love to explore local markets and events in the city. Chynna is always there for Kacey so it only makes sense that she is standing by her on her big day too!

Jacob and his cousin Ryan have always been two peas in a pod. Some of Jacob's favorite memories growing up were their summer trips to their grandparent's house. Many summers were spent playing mini golf, eating Grandpa's homemade pizza, going to the beach and pool, and eating all the candy and ice-cream they could imagine! They were also lucky enough to spend many Memorial Day weekends together at Lake Lure enjoying the beautiful lake, hiking, and lounging in the sun with their families.
