What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We are staying up to date with the state and local restrictions of COVID-19. We under the assumption that all guests are or will be vaccinated by 2/4/22.

What will the weather be?

Answer

Austin is known to be a bit bi-polar when it comes to it's weather. Early February for the past years has ranged from 85 and sunny to a snow storm with no power/water for days. Please keep a close eye on the weather closer to the event.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

The Allan House has a beautiful outdoor tent that will be set up for the entire duration. The outdoor tent is attached to the house, so rain or shine we will be protected! Space heaters will be available if necessary.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

While we highly encourage you to get a ride to the venue, there is limited parking available. There are 50 spaces included in the 505 W. 12th St. parking lot. Additional parking is located at the street for meter parking. Please coordinate with the bride or groom if you are interested in utilizing the parking so we can ensure there is a spot for you!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We are more than happy to help you find a babysitter if you want to bring them along!

Will I need transportation to any of the events?

Answer

If you stay at the Canopy, you are a 9 minute walk from The Allan House (.6 of a mile). If you are staying further away, Austin has all ride-sharing apps (including scooters & bikes) available through apps.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you!
