Airbnbs and vacation rentals are a fantastic option and tend to be the most plentiful in the area. Whether you’re planning a weekend away or a group stay with friends and family, there are lots of great homes nearby to make the weekend feel like a true getaway. Since it’s Labor Day weekend, we highly recommend booking accommodations sooner rather than later—and if you can swing it, make a long weekend out of it! There is a beautiful lake nearby where you can enjoy your 3-day weekend in a peaceful and relaxing way.
