Question

Do I need to go on the cruise to attend the wedding?

Answer

No! We are having an embarkation day ceremony so friends and family who cannot cruise with us can attend and leave prior to sail away.

Question

Can I go on the cruise too?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! We would love nothing more than to celebrate with you all week long. Bookings can be made on the Carnival website, just look for the sailing out of Galveston on the Jubilee November 15-22.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No- There will be parking available for purchase at the port of Galveston. You can Uber/Lyft if needed. You may want to check with your hotel as some on the island do offer shuttles to the cruise port.

Question

What can I bring on the ship with me? Gifts?

Answer

All sailing and non-sailing guest will need to clear customs in order to board the ship. Please do not bring any food items, alcohol, sharp objects, weapons, or fresh flowers. If you wouldn't bring it on an airplane, leave it at home. Since we have to pass through customs, any gifts will need to be sent directly to us. Cards are permitted to bring on board.

Question

How does this work getting married on cruise ship?

Answer

All guests will have to meet at the port at 9 am, dressed and ready to go! We will all board and get cleared by customs together and once boarded, bride will go to her cabin to get ceremony ready and guest will gather in the Havana lounge. Shortly after, ceremony will begin followed by an hour and a half reception where food and drink will be provided. At the end of the reception, non sailing guests will be escorted off the ship. Sailing guest: Please show up to the port with all luggage, travel documents, and boarding passes. You will NOT have access to your room prior to the ceremony, so please check luggage and keep all necessary items on you. Travel documents accepted: Passport or birth certificate. Non-Sailing guests: A boarding pass that allows you access to the ship for the wedding will be sent to you via email 2 days prior to ceremony. You will need a photo ID and minors (anyone under 16) will need a photo ID or birth certificate as well. Without these documents, you will not be permitted on board.
