Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kacee Saturay-Walsh and Michael Walsh
Looking for fun things to do in the area? Here are a few things that we love that are special to the both of us! We provided a mix of things in Edmonds (Michael's hometown and near the venue), West Seattle (Kacee's hometown and where they first lived together), and a few around North-ish Seattle (spots where we met in the middle earlier in our relationship)! Some honorable mentions: - Catch a movie at the Edmonds Theater - Take the water taxi to/from downtown's waterfront or explore Alki Beach - Visit U-village, our first date was here! - Bongos for Caribbean food - Rachel's Ginger Beer, any location for a refreshing sip - Golden Gardens for sunset - Get a Dick's burger, duh! - Hot Cakes in Ballard for dessert

Walnut Street Coffee

410 Walnut Street, Edmonds, WA 98020

Going to a coffee shop is one of our absolute favorite things to do together. This is one of our faves in Edmonds! People watching and getting their baked goods and cute merchandise is a must.

The Cottage, Community Bakery

7530 Olympic View Drive, Edmonds, WA 98026

We've been going to this spot since their early days of selling under a tent once a week. They've grown in the last few years and every single item is so. good. Any focaccia or olive flavored loaf is a favorite.

Edmonds Waterfront

121 Sunset Avenue North, Edmonds, WA 98020

Go for a stroll here! We love a waterfront walk.

Lincoln Park

8011 Fauntleroy Way Southwest, Seattle, WA 98136

Get waterfront views and forested trails! We've spent a lot of time here - from watching Michael run a XC race in high school to spending our pandemic days outside, this park is a memorable one!

The Good Society Brewery & Public House

2701 California Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98116

This is probably our favorite brewery in West Seattle! So many fun things happened here - celebrating Kacee getting a job in 2020, weekly music bingo with our amazing neighbors and friends, summer patio days with Journey. We love the community here.

Freshy's

2735 California Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98116

This was our go-to coffee shop when we lived in WS. Felt like our own version of Central Perk in Friends. Their breakfast paninis are so yummy.

Husky Deli & Catering & Ice Cream

4721 California Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98116

Kacee brought Michael here on the first time they hung out - she thought they were just friends at the time ha. We had their Chicken/Turkey Pesto Panini and ate it at Hiawatha Park.

Green Lake

Seattle, WA

Go for a stroll on the (busy) walking paths of Green Lake. So many of our early dates happened here since it was walking distance from BBHS.

Rupee Bar

6307 24th Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107

We've only been here twice in our almost 12 years of being together, but it's still at the top of our list for nicer restaurants in Seattle. Sri-lankan and Indian inspired food. So, so yummy and unique.
