Officiant
Melissa is one of Kate's oldest friends. They've done some crazy things, like cutting their jeans apart to make paper or sneaking out of Melissa's 1st story window to go meet friends at the park... Kate wouldn't be the person she is today without her. She also played a special role in how Eric and Kate met. We look forward to her story at the wedding :)
Maid of Honor
Kate and Christina first met outside the bathrooms near the L building at Milpitas High School. Kate went up to her and asked if she wanted to be her friend! They're both only children and felt like they were each others' sisters from another mister. Kate loves her like a fat kid loves cake <3
Best Man
Anthony and Eric met during a video game tournament in South Korea in 2009. After working together for a year and becoming great friends, Anthony moved to South Korea to explore other job opportunities. Following a work transfer to Taiwan, Eric and Anthony worked in a similar time zone. Years later, the two are still very close, and Eric is excited that Anthony has accepted the invitation to be his best man.
Bridesmaid
Sunmee and Kate spent almost all of Senior year with each other along with Christina. Sneaking out of her house to go to parties, Kate and Sunmee both got caught by Kate's parents. They proceeded to sneak out again... Now that Sunmee lives in NYC, Kate misses her very much but is extremely happy she can take time out of her schedule to be apart of our special day.
Groomsman
Jarrett and Eric met in the esports industry working on similar projects together at ESL. As good friends and coworkers, they would share many conversations about projects, careers and life. After Jarrett departed ESL to pursue a new opportunity at Electronic Arts, Eric received a similar opportunity and the two were re-united in the Bay Area at EA. These days, the two can be found sharing memes and pointless Youtube clips with each other to de-stress from heavy but fulfilling project workloads.
Bridesmaid
Kate was Kelly's first college friend. All the shopping and pho they had in college only made their friendship stronger. After Kate moved to LA, she was one of the few friends Kate kept in touch with. They always have random stuff to tell each other, so Kate loves living in the same area again!
Groomsman
Derek and Eric met during Freshman year general required courses at CSU East Bay. Following a friendly 1v1 challenge in the game of Counter-Strike, they both found common interests and soon became great friends. Their Sophomore through Senior years were spent as roommates where many inside jokes, stories and adventures took place. Now living in Mission Viejo, Derek and Eric regularly stay in contact to continue to make each other laugh.
