Best coffee, cinnamon rolls, etc in town! It’s one of our favorites!
About 30 minutes from the venue. Great for hiking, but go early to beat the crowds, and be sure to support the local restaurants and shops. I recommend the overlook trail, parking is in the lot just after you exit the tunnel or along the road where you can. Take plenty of water and Gatorade with you! This trail does have drop offs so watch young children closely.
About 40 minutes from the wedding venue, but usually draws fewer people- great views and hikes! Kylea grew up across from this beautiful canyon. We recommend the gila trail, Jenny’s canyon, the sand dunes, the petrified sand dune, and the overlook trail.
Great mexican food! About 40 minutes from the venue, but worth the trip. A Baskin Robbins is nearby, too. Kylea’s favorite: flautas with mild green sauce
Local favorite, their street tacos are delicious!
Breakfast favorite, it’s always busy, but that’s because it is GOOD. Kylea’s favorite: the crepes. These are big portions! Think a big burrito sized crepe. The half portion is one of those, the full portion is two. SO. GOOD.
Excellent museum in St George showcasing dinosaur tracks and other paleontological findings! Home to the best squatting track in the world. Kylea volunteered here cleaning tracks and other fossils starting when she was 8, and later worked here during college. Definitely watch the introductory video, and the guided tour is highly recommended if a volunteer tour guide is present.
This is a great place for young kids to wear themselves out!
You’ll need a 4WD vehicle for this trail, but it is beautiful!
We love the food here! Strongly recommended by Kylea and her maid of honor, Jade.
