FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM sharp, with the reception starting shortly after at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to get settled and find your seat.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at La Grande Estates located at 1799 Carpenter Road in Oakley, an outdoor venue where both the ceremony and reception will take place. Please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31st. We’re required to give our venue and caterers a final headcount well in advance, so unfortunately, we can’t accommodate any late RSVPs.

Question

Can I bring my kids or a plus-one?

Answer

We love celebrating with all of our favorite people! However, due to space and planning constraints, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. This includes children and plus-ones - if they’re not named on your RSVP, we won’t be able to include them. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a hotel block, and you’ll find full details, plus recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, on the Accommodations page.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We’re registered on Zola.com.

Question

Is there a timeline for the evening?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by the reception at 5:30 PM. Dinner, toasts, dancing, and other festivities will continue into the evening. You can check the “Schedule” tab for a rough timeline!

Question

Is there parking? Is transportation available?

Answer

Yes, parking is available onsite. There will be no shuttle service, so guests should plan to drive themselves or arrange a ride.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Formal with a hint of country flair! Think dressy, but feel free to incorporate boots, subtle western touches, or rustic colors if you’d like. The wedding colors are vintage mauve, blush pink, ivory and a walnut brown tone.

Question

Can I share photos of the bride and groom on social media?

Answer

Feel free to take photos throughout the day, but please don’t post or tag any photos of the bride and groom on social media. Instead, we’d love for you to upload your photos to our shared online album so everyone can enjoy them.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a selection of alcoholic beverages available for guests to enjoy responsibly.

Question

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

Yes, we’ll have assigned tables, but you can choose your seat at the table. Find your name on the seating chart when you arrive!

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We’re serving buffet-style homestyle country BBQ, with a vegan pasta option available. Please note any dietary needs on your RSVP.

Question

I have another question that has not be addressed - who should I contact?

Answer

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to Connie / Brian at Cannady2025@gmail.com.
