What's the deal with hotel accommodations?

Answer

OK here's the deal: because of the Notre Dame game, hotels will be very pricey and hard to find on Friday & Saturday night before the wedding. For that reason, if you plan on staying the whole weekend, we recommend renting a house through the websites suggested OR stay with a friend who lives in town. However, for the night of the wedding, hotel availability will be ample and reasonably priced. We will soon block out rooms for that night only at nearby hotels and post that information on this site.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Get a baby sitter and enjoy a night out alone! Kids who are young/small enough to fit on your lap may come.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Pants and dress shirts appreciated - except for jorts. Jorts are highly encouraged. Anything more than that is up to you.

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation should have specified if so.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

As of now, there will be one small shuttle bus to take people home from the ceremony only. It's only making one trip, so seating will be limited!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Notre Dame vs. Temple game on Saturday, Sept. 2nd will have most of the town fixated on that for that day. There will be a lot going on revolving around that. However, the town will be quite calm and settle down for our big day on Sunday, Sept. 3rd!
