Our modern relationship love story.
Boy meets girl by swiping right. Josh caught Pilar's eye with his travel photos, specifically a very cute photo of him with a monkey on his shoulder, and Josh thought Pilar was adorable watching a video of her slipping on the rocks of the Acropolis. Although Pilar was a tad hesitant diving into a relationship, Josh quickly won her over with his kindness, silly sense of humor, and mutual love of movies. From that moment their love kept evolving (like Josh's Pokemon collection), whether it was bunkering down during quarantine binging tv shows, traveling to Spain while also supporting each others' travels, and Josh happily becoming a cat dad when we moved in together.
When you find someone who makes it so effortlessly easy to be yourself, you say yes to happiness. And that's exactly what Pilar did on 3/24/2023 when Josh proposed on the lake shore path with their city as the backdrop, and ended the night with a party featuring their family and friends.
