Flight

Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

This is the Airport for all our international travelers. It is approx. 200 km (120 miles) away from our wedding location in Rheinau, Germany. There are daily direct flights with American Airlines from Charlotte to Frankfurt. This is the route we usually take for our flights.

Hotel/Travel Note

Please note that there are many nice hotel accommodations further from Rheinau and you are always free to organize a stay at an alternate hotel. A few nearby cities are Strasbourg (France), Sasbachwalden (Black Forest), and Baden-Baden. These cities are further from Rheinau, however, they would make a lovely stay, and we certainly recommend that you visit them during your time in Germany. Please note that planned transportation to and from the celebration venue will only be available for those staying at the Gasthaus zum Rössel.

Stay in our friend's Hotel, Gasthaus zum Rössel. The Hotel is around 10 minutes away from the wedding venue. We will have a shuttle service available on the day of the celebration to take you to and from the venue. Our friend Alina will be happy to host you!

RHE Hotel by WMM Hotels

This hotel is roughly a 5-minute walk from the venue. It is a newly added hotel in Rheinau and resembles a motel-style hotel.

Train

Deutsche Bahn

There is a relatively easy connection from Frankfurt Airport to nearby train stations such as Baden-Baden or Achern train station. Please keep in mind, that you will need to organize a rental car for traveling between the train stations and Rheinau. There is no Uber and Lyft availability in and around Rheinau and low taxi availability.
