I noticed Juwan during my first month at Point Park University in the Point Park gym, and from that point on, I knew I had to be with him. For months, I tried everything to get his attention, from walking in front of him, to dropping things in front of him, to just doing embarrassing things. But nothing worked. Finally it was the first basketball game of the season and my friend who was on the basketball team had set me up with Juwan. Cole had given Juwan my Instagram name, and five seconds later, my phone died, so I rushed home to charge it, and then the rest is history. We had our first facetime call the next night. Then our first date a few days later, and I was like there is no way this guy is meant for me... Little did I know that 6 years later, I would be marrying him. From Juwan getting down on one knee in Chick-fil-A's parking lot almost 6 years ago to ask me to be his girlfriend with a waffle fry ring, to 4 years later asking me to be his wife with a real ring, to 2 years later, finally marrying the love of my life. Through everything we have been through, we have chosen to stick by each other's side and have created this amazing life for ourselves. We are excited to embark on this next journey as husband and wife and to share this moment with all of you.
