We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in and around Rome/Berry.
Ford Buildings at Berry College
One of Berry's most iconic spots on campus. A must see!
Old Mill at Berry College
The entrance to Berry's nature. Hikes to the Berry Reservoir, the Long Leaf Pine Trail, and several others are conveniently located near the mill.
Moe's BBQ
101 West 1st Street, Rome, GA 30161
Really great BBQ (if you go, get the BBQ Nachos)
Jefferson's Grill
Really cool spot for wings, seafood, fried pickles, and beer. Justyn's old stomping grounds...
Doug's Deli
Great for light and healthy options. The focaccia bread is to die for. Also check out the local Canoe Outfitters next door for some cool gear.
Jerusalem Grill
223 Turner McCall Boulevard, Rome, GA 30165, (706) 291-8899
The spot for great falafel and kabobs. One of Sarah's favorite places to eat in Rome!
Riverdog
Justyn's favorite bar ever! Amazing beer garden located on the Etowah river. Try beer from Hutton and Smith - a brewery where all the beers are named after geological items/people.
The Foundry
A great spot for local and regional beers and wine on tap and to-go.
Swift and Finch Coffee
Our favorite coffee shop in town! Make sure to try the Carmella or Chai Latte. We would study here all the time (sometimes until closing!).
Honeymoon Bakery
228 Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161, (706) 232-0611
Sarah's favorite spot for sweets and anything sugar! A full spread of cookies, cakes, and gelato can be found here at Honeymoon.
Downtown Historic District
Stroll down historic Rome, Georgia for local shopping.
