Stefani is Rachel's sister and partner-in-crime. Although they weren't always close (you know how teenage girls can be), their relationship grows closer every day... Sisters by birth, best friends by choice. She has helped guide Rachel through both childhood and adulthood giving her so much to look up to. She is the most loyal and selfless person and is constantly using her knowledge as a Personal Trainer and licensed Nutritionist to help those around her. The wedding day just wouldn't be the same without her and Rachel is so honored to have her by her side as her Maid of Honor!
Jonathan Foss
Best Man
Jonathan and Justus have known each other the longest of all his groomsmen. Well, they are brothers after-all. They have always been close - fighting, making up and playing sports together through high school. Jonathan, being the more extroverted of the two, always helped Justus get outside his comfort zone and even convinced him to become an honorary brother in Alpha Tau Omega, Jonathan's college fraternity at NDSU.
Emma Grey

Emma is Justus' sister. She is strong, beautiful and hilarious! As a successful hairstylist in Fargo, Emma knows her way around beauty, not only within but esthetically too. She is incredibly loyal. Although it may seem like she takes a little while to open up, once she does she has your back no questions asked. Emma loves to laugh, spend time with those she loves and will never hesitate to tell you how it is. No matter what life throws at her, she never fails to brush herself off and find the positivity out of it. Justus feels so lucky to have Emma as a sister and Rachel couldn't be luckier to be gaining her as a sister-in-law and a friend!
Sam Pitka

Sam, fondly described as the Grumpy Cat meme, spends much of his summers with Justus. Sam and Justus met on the golf course a few years ago and have become great friends ever since. Both having a passion for the sport of golf, they encourage and challenge each other to get better not only on the course but outside of it as well. Sam's wife, Patty, Rachel's Personal Attendant and both Rachel and Justus' Stitch-Fix Stylist, have also developed quite the friendship and can routinely find themselves having dinner together. We are thankful for golf to have led us to develop such a great friendship with this awesome couple.
Anna Foss

Anna is Justus' youngest sister and an absolute ray of sunshine. Anna's compassionate heart lead her towards her love of animals and her experience working as a vet tech. But, most recently, her passion led her to her new career as a beauty esthetician (which makes sense since she's a former beauty queen!). Regardless of her career path or anything else life throws at her, Anna is always smiling! She is one of the most kind and passionate people you will ever meet and never fails to make you feel welcome in any situation. Justus and I feel so lucky to have her as a sister!
John Norton
Groomsman
John (Nordo) and Justus' friendship started in high school as soccer teammates where they would often race against each other to see who was the fastest player on the team. Who was faster? You may get a different answer depending on who you ask. Their true friendship started late on November 4th, 2007. Nordo had just returned from active duty and ran into Justus while standing in line outside the Fargo Best Buy to buy Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on it's midnight release. The friendship grew and continued from there even after Nordo moved to Scottsdale, AZ with his family.
Sarah Roethle

Sarah and Rachel have been friends for 7 years and life has never been the same. They've shared so many memories, had a blast traveling together and have laughed until they cried. Whether it was Sarah cheering Rachel on while she finished school or now while Sarah finishes nursing school while she's working full-time as a dialysis nurse (literally, she's incredible), these two haven't missed any opportunity to cheer each other on through life's challenges. She's also the one who convinced Rachel to sign up for the dating website which led her to meeting Justus. So, ultimately, we all owe Sarah a huge thank you for bringing us all together. Haha!
Matt Swords

Matt has single-handedly had a profound influence on Justus' life. They met when they both joined the same broomball team in the off-season. While Justus was unemployed after his school counseling job in Faribault, MN, Matt offered Justus to join his Platinum Club trip to Las Vegas, NV, for FREE! Justus even walked away with more money they he went with! From there, Matt helped Justus change careers as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Justus works on Matt's team at Bell Mortgage (a Fargo bank). Things have a funny way of working themselves out.
Paula Ryan

You know those people you meet and it feels like you've known them your whole life? That's how it was for Rachel and Paula. They met while both working at a Marketing Agency in St. Paul and quickly developed a friendship that is something special. Whether they're both in Minneapolis or while they're creating roots in different parts of the country (Rachel in Minneapolis and Paula in Denver, CO with her husband and beautiful baby), these two soul sisters have been supporting and cheering each other on each and every step of the way!
Mike Nokelby

Mike and Justus met playing hockey in 4th grade and have been best friends ever since. They've shared so many memories and experiences, in both sports and friendship. Mike has always been there for Justus... even that one time that he biked over to the Foss house to witness something only Carol, Justus and Mike had the chance to see in person.
Sheila Cheng

If you haven't met Sheila yet, you're in for a treat. Sheila and Rachel met through mutual friends in Justus' broomball league (of course). Over the last few years, Sheila has become a great friend to both Rachel and Justus. We like to describe her as the sprinkles to life... haha! She is always so positive, energetic and up for anything! Life (and our wedding) just wouldn't be the same without her.
Dane Bremer

Affectionately known to Justus and Rachel as "Daner", Dane is Justus' country lovin', car racin', game huntin', meat cookin' connoisseur who is always fun to have around. You can always find Dane with a smile on his face. Rachel and Dane's wife Becca, were worried that when Dane and Becca married in 2019 that Justus would just take Becca's place instead because of their special bond. Dane and Justus met playing broomball against each other and were teammates on Legion BC. They became even closer friends when Dane moved to Minnesota from Indiana playing broomball, golf and roller hockey together.
Patty Pitka

Patty is the best! She is the wife of Sam Pitka (one of Justus' groomsman) and has become close friends with Rachel in the process. She is smart, passionate, hilarious and also happens to be a Stitch Fix Stylist for both Justus and Rachel! We are so grateful to have Sam and Patty as friends and are so grateful to have them there by our side on the big day!
Tyler Houchin

Tyler and Justus met when they became teammates on the early days of Legion BC (broomball). Both Tyler and Justus share a passion for the sport and all of the intricacies that go into it at a high level. They both share the competition passion as well while both being true to themselves and what they stand for. It is from this similarly shared connection and viewpoint on life that Tyler and Justus are true friends who would do anything for each other.

If anyone knows both Matt and Justus, they know they go hand in hand in the world of broomball. Both can be found working a media publication site BroomballCentral.com and are visual co-hosts on a video podcast known as "On the Bench". The relationship Justus has with many broomballers throughout the country started with Matt who recruited Justus to join and take part in a dream of becoming the first broomball team not situated in Minnesota to win Nationals. It took a few years, but in 2019, that dream became a reality. Matt and Justus, though being states apart, talk just about every day.
