It all started at a mutual friend’s 18th birthday dinner in April of 2010. It was the first time Amber and Kendrick met each other. Amber, sporting a fancy beige blazer, caught Kendrick’s attention immediately. Kendrick, showing up late and holding the dinner reservation up, caught Amber’s attention as she is typically the last to arrive at most functions. Little did they both know that this one night over 10 years ago would lead them to this present day. Sharing the same group of friends, over the years Amber and Kendrick would always see each other in passing but had yet to have a conversation outside of “Hey, how are you” and “Fine, how about you”. It wasn’t until the summer of 2017, at a party thrown by Kendrick that everything would change. With Kendrick just coming back home from playing overseas in Macedonia, and Amber just moving back home from living in Dubai, neither were sure about what their next steps would be in life. Sharing of their worldly experiences seemed to be the connection that the two formed almost instantly. But let Kendrick tell it, it was his cinnamon roll waffles he made for Amber that really took her interest over the top. Since that day, the two have been inseparable, traveling the world together and adding to their already vast experiences.
