Daniel has been my best friend since Mr. Baker introduced us to each other in the 7th grade. I had just moved from Binghamton, NY to Ithaca and had been going through a tough time adjusting. I missed my old friends, my old house and my old area. Meeting Daniel came at a time when I needed it the most. We took pride in our schoolwork, had an uncanny ability to laugh in almost any situation and had a passion for basketball. Even after Daniel moved away in 9th grade, we remained friends throughout high school and into our college years where we would become roommates at Cornell University. I can’t help but to be grateful for over 18 years of friendship with one of the smartest and most driven individuals I know. —Justin
