In case you missed how we met or want a refresher, sit back and relax. It is a good one, we promise. Jen was working on campus during the summer going into her senior year at Lynchburg College. She worked in the business office and had the opportunity to get to know Justin's Dad, Boyce, since he is the Director of the Physical Plant on campus. July 28th, 2017 is the day that Jen made the comment of how she hated being single and that is when Boyce stated, "Well I have a son." All the ladies in the business office encouraged her to give Justin a shot, so Jen messaged him on Facebook and they met later that night at Depot Grille. They had a wonderful night getting to know each other and BOOM FELL IN LOVE END OF STORY. Not exactly, Justin was friend-zoned for a couple of months and they continued to get to know each other while the fall semester started for Jen. No matter how hard she tried to keep him in the friend zone, he never gave up, smooth-talked about Star Wars, gave her encouragement, and was there for her when her Bubbie was ill and later passed. They made it official in December and have never looked back. They have continued to grow within the past couple of years individually and together! Justin has continued to grow in his profession and looks forward to continuing his leadership and relationships as he takes on his new promotion as Territory Manager at Johnstone Supply. Jen completed her Master's in 2021 and has the privilege of working at Boonsboro Country Club as the Communications and Event Manager. They have two fur babies, Zeus (8) and Wells (2), bought a house two years ago, and continue to support and grow together each and every day. They love building a life together and are excited for you to witness them make it forever, by saying I do.
