Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo is half way between the Bay Area (where we live) and LA (where Justin’s family lives with lots of his friends). We wanted the wedding location to be driveable for majority of guests, as well as Kristen’s sister Meagan lives in San Luis Obispo so they visit often. Kristen also went to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and knows they area well. The region is beautiful with beaches nearby, wineries, and the best restaurants!
Yes! We plan on live streaming our wedding ceremony for guests who are not able to attend. We want those unable to still be a part. The link for the live stream is: https://epicentertainment.group/wong-kirkpatrick/ No password is needed, just go to the link and it will take you to the live stream that will start at 4pm on April 10th.
Guests will also be spread apart as much as possible throughout the wedding ceremony and reception, and with smaller tables available during the reception at the request of guests. Consideration will be made to space guests apart at their tables as well. Guest must wear a mask when inside the venue at any point, but are able to enjoy their food and drinks outside. All winery staff will wear masks and gloves, and food and beverages will be served by only staff. Please be respectful of others of course regarding safety. Other measures will be communicated as it gets closer, but please reach out for additional concerns.
The venue is a beautiful winery in Paso Robles that looks upon miles of vineyards. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place all outside, with a tent available to use in case it rains. The "castle" as it is called, is surrounded by a beautiful moat and plenty of outdoor space for guests to walk around and enjoy. We recommend all guests bringing a jacket in case it is cool at night.
While still uncertain as to what will happen, for now we are moving forward assuming we can have all our guests be able to attend. If restrictions occur, we will reach out to announce a plan B/C and changes that we will make. We understand that many of our guests may not be sure if they will be able attend due to health concerns, so will be giving extra time for guests to decide as close as possible to the wedding. At a minimum, we will have a ceremony in the area that guests are invited to come be a part of.
Due to limits on our total guest count due to COVID, we are asking guests to adhere to the names on the RSVP section of our website. Please reach out for any specific questions or requests though.
Yes, there is a large parking lot right in front of our venue with a short walk to the site. There is handicap parking, and guests can be dropped off close to the ceremony site if needed.
Please reach out to us by phone or email if you have a food allergy or food restriction so we can let the chef be aware.
We understand some guests may only want to attend the ceremony and will not be able to stay for the reception. If that is the case, please let us know by phone or email.
We are registered on our website at Zola, Crate & Barrel, and Amazon. There is a link here in our website for quick access.
We recommend arriving by 3:30pm to ensure enough time to get your seat. The wedding ceremony starts prompt at 4:00pm.
