How will the NFL Draft impact the wedding schedule?

Answer

We’re conscious that the NFL draft will be taking place at the same time as our wedding and are doing our best to reserve accommodations for guests. We have hotel blocks for your convenience on our website, but want to stress that these will book quickly and have limited availability. If you are flying in, flights will likely also be more expensive and we recommend booking as early as you feasibly can. We apologize for the inconvenience and are doing the best we can to make this as smooth as possible for everyone!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the barn to the right of the entrance to the Botanic Garden, with a possible overflow lot designated across the street.

What is the smoking policy?

Answer

The Botanic Garden has a strict no-smoking policy and will be enforced. If you need to smoke, there is a designated smoking area by the catering driveway.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully ask that no children attend our wedding, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and suits (tie optional) for men.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance when you submit your RSVP.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, but these are limited. Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block and note our considerations related to the NFL draft.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we encourage you to take photos as the bride and groom are allergic to photography and have no nice pictures together. There will be information at the bar about uploading to our group wedding album!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. Our ceremony will take place in the barn in the event of severe weather, and dinner will be served under cover.
