Let's get married!

Justin and Jasmine met at a wedding (can you say fairytale?). The wedding was in Oroville, WA, a place Jasmine had never even heard of, but a place very close to home for Justin. The bride of the wedding was a college friend of Jasmine's who she complete the teaching program at WSU with, and the groom was a high school friend Justin grew up with. Jasmine says she can still remember having her eye on the tall "cowboy" who was standing as a groomsman during the wedding ceremony. Justin told a friend at the wedding he thought the girl with the curly hair had a beautiful smile. Believe it or not, it was Jasmine who finally got the courage to go up and talk to Justin for the first time as the night went on at the wedding. Justin took Jasmine on a romantic walk around the wedding grounds and the rest was history. Justin and Jasmine have talked literally every day since.

Justin and Jasmine had a mini day trip planned to Leavenworth, WA. They both had always wanted to explore the special place of Leavenworth at Christmas time. The original plan was to take Rylan, it was their weekend with him, he had never been. They planned to check out the famous reindeer farm, do some sledding, and eat all the pretzels and sausages. Rylan ended up not being able to go but Justin and Jasmine still decided to go for the weekend. Justin had very important plans Jasmine had no idea about. It was the most beautiful drive over Stevens Pass in the snow and Leavenworth was even more magical than they ever imagined. Jasmine remembers Justin being "on a mission" not wanting to walk slow or take in any of the scenery and gift shops. Justin had a place in mind he wanted to check out that he told Jasmine he saw on Tik Tok down by the river. They made it to the famous and beautiful Tik Tok bridge and after many selfies Justin said they should walk over by a secluded little bench and get closer to the water. Standing a foot away from the river in the snow Justin and Jasmine shared a long hug where Jasmine felt Justin's heart basically pounding out of his chest and asked what was wrong. Justin explained that he just really wished Rylan could of been there. Justin then gave his proposal and landed down on one knee. Jasmine completely lost it, balling her eyes out, and in absolute shock it was really happening! Justin and Jasmine asked a stranger to take a picture which they now cherish. They then went to the Leavenworth Cider House where they purchased glasses as special souvenirs and a growler of cider to take with them. Justin even surprised Jasmine with a surprise engagement back at their condo in Mukilteo, WA where all of their friends and family traveled to celebrate the newly engaged couple!
