BEST BBQ WITHOUT A DOUBT. Nick and Justine are regulars and had one of their first dates there. Make a reservation now!
Green Lady Lounge is a super authentic place to hear jazz music. It’s a must for a KC first timer!
This is the perfect place to get a great view of the city skyline! Extra points if you go at sunset!
This rooftop bar gives you a killer view of KC. They offer yummy snacks and drinks too!
This is KC's biggest and best brewery. You can take a tour or just go for a couple of beers in their tasting room. Nick and Justine recommend the Tank 7, but be careful, it's 8.5 ABV.
This little hole in the wall Italian place has all the heart you'll ever need. Justine has spent several birthdays there with Nick and it's always a 10. Don't leave without trying the tiramisu.
Nick and Justine's favorite thai restaurant. Nick likes the rainbow peanut noodles and Justine swears by the khun ma pad thai!
We used to walk here on weekends when Justine lived in Brookside. We went here the day we got engaged and Justine had no idea that Nick was writing what he was going to say in his proposal across the table. Enjoy amazing pastries and coffee at this special spot of ours.
Bay Boy is our favorite sandwich spot in KC! Takeout from Bay Boy helped us get through a year of quarantine and it was even the first meal we ate at our first place together. Nick's favorite is The Nebraskan and Justine loves The Crown Town Club and El Jefe. Call ahead and pickup your sammy since there is no seating inside! Bring it to Loose Park for a picnic. Enjoy!
Chicken N Pickle is such a fun spot to get great chicken, yummy beverages, and play pickleball! Nick and Justine LOVE pickleball and were actually on a league together a few years ago. The first time they came to Chicken N Pickle Justine played pickleball barefoot for hours. This outdoor hang out spot is a great stop if you have free time in KC!
Andy's is our favorite place for a sweet treat. We lived down the street for a couple of years and would go there with our roommates Charlotte and Whitney when one of us had a hard day. On warm summer nights we would walk there together and it was such a special tradition. If you have a sweet tooth here in KC, Nick and Justine recommend the Ooey Gooey Concrete and the Snowmonster Concrete.
