We're getting married!

Neither of us can remember the exact moment we met, but it was through mutual friends our sophomore year of high school. We exchanged notes during passing period, shared a locker, had a designated lunch spot, danced at prom, and went to each other's wrestling (Matt) and tennis (Justine) matches. It was everything a high school romance should be. We continued to date long distance while Matt went to college at Purdue University in Indiana, and Justine went to San Jose State University in California. The long distance continued when after graduating college Matt moved to Nevada City, California for work and Justine moved to Reno, Nevada. With all that behind us, we've been living together in Nevada City for over two years now and are so excited to continue our life together!

A normal weekend at Fuller Lake with friends turned into a weekend we'll never forget! We had both gotten up early before everyone else was awake and were sitting by the water's edge, watching the morning unfold. We were just talking, relaxing, and enjoying the morning when Matt suddenly got down on one knee and said the magic words, "Will you marry me?" Of course Justine said yes! Matt had planned it so both of our families came up to the lake later that day to celebrate with us. It was a perfect day.
