How do I book my room with the room block?
Answer
Below is the link to book your room, it can also be found in the "Travel" section of this website. The room block is Friday - Monday, January 1-4th, feel free to stay 1 or all 3 nights. You can also work with the Marriott to extend your stay beyond the room block nights if you choose to for their standard room rates for the nights outside of the block. Does the hotel fully book up for New Years Eve?

Yes! If you decide to extend your stay and spend New Years Eve on the island, I highly recommend you book in advance to avoid the possibility of the resort being fully booked! It books up fast for holidays! If you see the hotel is already fully booked for the holiday night, please work with our housing partner Jaclyn Otto at the Marriott to see if she can help you find a room. What if I want to stay at the resort longer or get there early but the room block is only for Friday, Saturday, Sunday?

If you decide to extend your stay beyond the wedding weekend, you can absolutely book 2 reservations (one with the room block) and one separately, then reach out to our housing partner at the Marriott, Jaclyn Otto to link your reservations. If I am extending my stay to spend New Years Eve in Marco Island, should I make reservations?
Answer
Yes! New Years Eve anywhere, especially on a warm sunny island in the winter books up, plan your trip accordingly for the nights we are not all celebrating together!

Which airport is best to fly into to get to Marco Island?
Answer
Flying into Fort Myers International Airport (RSW) will be your best bet!

How do I get from Fort Myers International Airport (RSW) to the resort?
Answer
The ride from the airport to the resort is a little under an hour. You should have no issue getting an uber from the airport to hotel. There are also various driving services in the area you can book in advance as well.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
Answer
You are more than welcome to bring your children on vacation to Marco Island, but the Wedding events and Welcome Party will be adult only. Please plan accordingly for child care.

Please tell the bride and we will absolutely work with the Welcome Party and Wedding venue to accommodate!

If you are needing assistance booking dinner reservations within the Marriott due to the busy holiday time of year, Sydnie, our restaurant event coordinator can work with you. Her email is Sydnie.Leaphart@marriott.com. Please book dinner plans in advance if you are staying longer than the wedding weekend festivities as it is a holiday weekend and will book up in advance!
