Orion and Kyle met in Hamilton 10 years ago, and from that moment on, their friendship began to grow into something lasting. Even after Kyle joined the Navy right out of high school—leading to years of physical distance—their bond never weakened. No matter the miles between them, they stayed connected, proving that true friendship isn’t defined by proximity. Whenever Kyle returned to Montana, it didn’t take much to bring the group back together. Whether it was a spontaneous trip to Canada, finding something new to do in Missoula, or heading out to Lost Trail, they made the most of every moment. Even when one of those ski trips took a rough turn and kept Kyle in Montana for months afterward, it only added another chapter to their shared story. Through everything, Kyle has been the kind of friend who shows up—no matter what, no matter when. The brother-like bond between Kyle, Charlie, and Orion has only strengthened over time, becoming something truly unbreakable. As the months turn into years, that connection continues to grow deeper and more meaningful. Kyle and Orion share a mindset rooted in adventure, always looking ahead to the next experience they can take on together. Like Kyle, Charlie and Orion met 10 years ago in Hamilton. Any time the two of them would get together, there was seldom a case where the three couldn't be found causing all sorts of trouble. Charlie attended The University of Montana Western with Orion for the first year while they both contemplated where life would take them. The late night conversations and mid week crisis' would only bound the two stronger and ready to make the next move in life. Charlie would then move to Missoula where the two would find time to sneak away and get together again. Charlie has proven to be an invaluable friend with his indispensable guidance and opinions. Having respectful debates and meaningful conversations are unique to their friendship and help each other grow and create new perspective. As time passes, they found more meaning in the moments together and cherish the memories created. Charlie has been in Orion's life for many of his greatest achievements and moments. This special day would not be possible without Charlie by Orion's side.
Groomsman
Orion and Cooper met shortly after graduating college. Cooper from MSU, and Orion from UMW. Cooper is an outgoing guide who was shown Orion the rivers, lakes, streams, mountains, and back country he might have never seen. Along with tagging along with Cooper on these adventures, Orion has learned plenty about fishing and hunting from long conversations and real time adjustments while recreating alongside him. Growing up in Dillon, Cooper has the surrounding wilderness running through his veins. While together, Orion and Cooper get to talk about track and field with his time throwing for the Cats and how their experiences eventually led them to one another. Sharing similar interests, Cooper can be found getting the knot out of Orion's fly line any given day he's not guiding. Cooper is someone who doesn't blend into a crowd, he is the party and always happy to be included.
Groomsman
Orion and Sam met on the golf course as strangers years ago. After finishing their round, one after another they would meet up to lose golf balls and patience together. Sam is someone who can be found on the golf course any time he isn't working overtime. Whether it's taking a golf trip or wanting warmer weather, Sam is a world traveler visiting countries like South Korea, Bali, and Canada. Sam's interest for the outdoors is fueled by the BLM while he works outside here in Montana and Alaska in the past. Orion and Sam can be found on the golf course during the summer trying to prove who can definitely get there with the wrong club.
Groomsman
Joe and Orion's friendship began like most great friendships, with Grace and Justine spending time together. It didn't take long for the two to find common ground and shortly after, become true friends. Joe finds enjoyment in the little things, which is something Orion appreciates. With plans to spend time outside during the summer, the group plans on camping and fishing together any given weekend. Joe and Orion relate on many things, like struggling to catch fish and enjoying creating or fixing things in their free time. The two cherish the opportunity to sit back and watch as the world move around them. Like many great friendships, time doesn't seem to drag on and awkwardness never seems to linger while the two get together.
