The Walkers

After what seems like a lifetime already, we are finally tying the knot! We've been through so much together already and couldn't have gotten this far without all of our friends and family supporting us along the way. It's been almost seven years now of LOTS of ups and downs, tears and laughter. We've made it though multiple jobs, unemployment, road trips to different states, vacations, COVID, a few cases of the flu, drunken nights, hillclimb wrecks and hillclimb wins, new hobbies, multiple wall hanging deer, trophy sized fish, some bumps in the road, a few vehicles, buying a house, collecting the cutest fur babies, all so that we could make a pit stop here to share the rest of our lives as husband and wife. We know that this is just a page in our book and we are SO excited to share it with all of you. We can't wait to just have the absolute time of our lives with all the people who mean so much to us. We would like to especially thank both of our parents for ALL of their support and love through the years. You mean more to us than you will ever know. When did you meet? About 10-ish years ago! But we didn't start dating until 2017. What is the first thing that you liked about your partner? J-How he always wanted to do something fun. M-She's really pretty. Where did you go on the first date? We went kayaking at the Que and then had dinner at Pizza Man's. Still one of our favorite spots! Where was your first vacation together?  We actually just had our first real vacation together last year. We went to the Florida Keys with the Walker family and had so much fun! Where did the first kiss happen? On the couch at Matt's house, watching horror films. What is the first film you have watched together? Texas Chainsaw Massacre maybe? Who is a better cook? Justine usually but Matt is getting better and makes awesome deer steaks. Who says “I love you” most often? We probably say it about equally. What are you most likely to argue about? Everything! We disagree on a lot but we also share the same brain... We're complicated haha What are the most interesting facts you like about your partner? J-He's a ginger. But Matthew is good at LITERALLY everything he tries. M-She makes friends with everyone. Who takes the longest to get ready? Definitely Justine. Who is the better singer? Also Justine. Who takes best quality pictures? Matthew take pretty good "content". Who snores louder? Justine Who takes up the most room in bed? Meadow Who is more stubborn? Depends, it probably is a tie. Who is better at saving money? Matt How many children do you have or would like to have? We have 3 fur babies; Crackhead (cat), Little Grey (cat), and Meadow (dog). We would love more puppies in the future! How did he propose? Matthew took me to his family's farm to give me my "birthday" present. As we stood there on the hillside, he was shaking the whole time and promised to make every birthday special for the rest of my life. So as I'm crying because he's tearing up, he gets down on one knee and asks the question. What are your honeymoon plans? We're still deciding on a trip out west, I would LOVE to go to Alaska, or take a trip to Universal Studios. Definitely not going right away though, probably 2025. What are your favorite hobbies as a couple? We enjoy hunting, fishing, playing with our puppy and riding! Mostly Matt rides and Justine watches and sun bathes haha.
