The Dome House

The Dome House is what we affectionally call this location, named for the geodesic dome house that Greg's dad, Eric built on the property. Located in the rolling hills of southeastern South Dakota farm country. All are welcome to camp at the property, please let us know if you would like to camp so we can make sure we have space. Turn on satellite mode when looking up the location. Google Maps will pull up a location a little down the road in the middle of the street, the property is to the left, near the intersection of 311th St and 475th Ave. You can use 47504 in Google Maps to pull up the location. Apple Maps will pull up the correct location with 47506.

The property is ~20 minutes from Vermillion, South Dakota, and this is the closest city. There are only a few hotel options in this city. There are two hotel options we recommend in Vermillion, see below for more details. If you would like to stay in Vermillion we recommend booking quickly due to limited hotels. We have room blocks available, see hotel info below for more details.

The property is ~ 40 minutes from Sioux City, Iowa, and is the next closest city. Sioux City has more hotels to choose from as well as options for dining and recreation. We included a few hotel options below that have good reviews and are in a convenient location for getting to the wedding.

The property is ~1 hour from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and the largest city near the property and there are many hotels to choose from as well as dining and recreation options. Due to how many different hotel options the city has we did not select any specific ones to recommend. The property is south of Sioux Falls so consider staying more south in the city if you would like to stay in Sioux Falls. Let us know if you would like help with picking a hotel in Sioux Falls.

The property is ~4.5 hours from the Twin Cities in Minnesota by car. You can go through Sioux Falls on the way depending on your route.
