Driving to and from Dunton Hot Springs

If you are driving from the North (Telluride or Montrose airport) please note that Road 38 North entrance is an off-road trail that requires a 4x4 vehicle. If you do NOT have a 4x4 vehicle or have experience with off-road driving, you must follow Hwy 145 to Dolores and enter Road 38 at the South entrance to Dunton Hot Springs. When leaving Dunton you will want to take a left heading south towards Dolores or Cortez to take the same route home.

What is included with my accommodations?

Answer

All food and drink will be included from Thursday (6/18) afternoon to Sunday (6/21) morning. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any snacks throughout the day. Bar closure and beverage service to end at 02:00 am. DAILY RATES INCLUDE ▪ Accommodations ▪ All Meals ▪ All Alcoholic Beverages (with exception of Reserve List) ▪ All Non-Alcoholic Beverages

Dunton Hot Springs VS Dunton River Camp

Answer

There are 8 cabins that are located at Dunton River Camp, which is approximately 4 miles away from Dunton Hot Springs. It is a short 8-10min drive from Dunton River Camp to Dunton Hot Springs. We will have transportation setup for all guests so that they can easily go to and from each location. Note that breakfast for all Dunton River Camp guests will be served at the Saloon on premises from 8-10am. All lunch and dinners will be served at Dunton Hot Springs. Note: That Dunton River Camp and Dunton Hot Springs are owned and operated by the same hotel.

Are guests allowed to bring pets?

Answer

We ask that no one outside the direct wedding party to bring their pets as there are a limited number of pet friendly cabins.

When is check-in & check-out?

Answer

Check-in is at 3:00pm MST on Thursday 6/18 and Check-out is at 11:00am MST Sunday 6/21. For anyone arriving Friday (6/19) you are able to check-in at anytime as we have reserved the entire hotel from June 18-21st 2026. Please indicate when you plan to arrive on your RSVP as we will prioritize guests that plan to arrive on Thursday (6/18).

When do I need to book activities?

Answer

We ask that everyone book any activities at least a month in advance to ensure that there is enough space for everyone to book their desired activity. We recommend that you book activities for Thursday (6/18) and Friday (6/19). If you plan to book an activity for Saturday (6/20) please make sure that it is in the morning, and that you are back in time for the wedding ceremony.
