Driving?
The drive from Philadelphia to the Sayen House and Gardens takes about an hour. If you are driving from Long Island, the drive is typically 2 to 2.5 hours in normal traffic. Parking: there is a lot along Hughes Drive at the entrance to the park.
Flight
To PHL or EWR
If you are flying in the day before the wedding, we recommend landing at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) or Newark International Airport (EWR). Both are about an hour drive away if you plan to rent a car or you can take the train from either.
Train
Train from Philadelphia
The Amtrak from Philadelphia 30th Street Station to Trenton, NJ is ~30 minutes (reserve well in advance as tickets can get expensive). From there it is ~15 minutes by Lyft/Uber to the Sayen House. If you are staying in Hamilton or Princeton, you can transfer at Trenton to the NJ transit to get to the Hamilton station or Princeton Junction.
Train
Train from NYC or Newark
Amtrak from NY Penn Station to Trenton is about 1.5 hours and from Newark to Trenton is about 35 minutes. Alternatively, you can take NJ Transit to either Trenton, Princeton, or Hamilton, but the ride is longer. If you’re planning to take Amtrak, get your tickets well in advance because the prices go up the closer it is to your trip.
