Bridget & Justin met at work in 2020 at the height of COVID.

They worked at Bling Jewelry, and hated it there.

Bridget trained Justin on the job.

He made her laugh so much even in such a miserable place.

They became great work friends.

Then that developed into being best friends.

They would instant message each other at work all day.

Even though they sat right next to each other.

Coworkers must have noticed them struggling not to giggle.

Kind of a Jim and Pam dynamic.

They were both scared to tell each other how much they enjoyed the other.

One night Justin got the courage to call her.

And he told her how much he liked her.

She was quiet for the entire phone call, which made him terrified.

But she was speechless because she felt the same way.

They met up for a beer, and shared their first kiss.

And the rest is history.

After some time, they moved in to a Jersey City apartment together.

They threw fun parties with their roommates Andrew and Giancarlo.

After a fun year with the squad, Justin and Bridget decided to find their own place.

They moved into a Carteret apartment, and made it a home.

But no home is complete without a cute kitten....

So they adopted Lita, the sweetest little tabby cat.

Bridget slowly converted Justin into a cat person.

Now Justin and Lita are best friends and they make Bridget jealous LOL.

Sometimes Bridget and Justin would go on weekend trips together.

But they couldn't bring Lita.

Lita started to get sad and lonely.

So they adopted her a friend! Edge, the black and white kitten!

They hated each other...

But slowly...

They fell in love too.

Now Lita and Edge snuggle and play together.

And keep Bridget and Justin awake all night running around.

ANYWAY

After living together for a long while,

Justin and Bridget were becoming a loving and dependable unit.

They had some talks about marriage and the future...

But no solid plans in the works.

One evening, Bridget found a drinking game online and convinced Justin to play.

They got pretty lit, and Justin suggested going for a walk to get some air.

Bridget agreed and they went walking around town.

He commented on how beautiful it was out.

Bridget dragged him into a bar and tried to make him do karaoke.

Eventually they left and walked home.

Justin burst out "I've been trying to give you this all night!" It was a ring!
