What's the attire for this event?

Answer

Our wedding will be Cocktail Attire. For men, this means a suit or button-down shirt. For ladies, this includes cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, skirts, and sundresses.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a guest list in place to stay on budget, and therefore is by RSVP only. As for right now, we extend the invitation to those whose names appear on the invite. Please reach out to us in advance with any questions about guests and we will let you know if it’s possible!

Will the ceremony and reception be held at the same location?

Answer

Yes, Historic Mankin Mansion will hold our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Once you arrive, you won't have to leave again until the night is over.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is located at the back of the venue. You will be directed by venue staff upon arrival. Hotel shuttles will also be available for guest utilizing our hotel block. Hotel block information can be found on the Travel tab above.

Will this be an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will take place on the venue grounds - outdoors. However, we hope that the brief ceremony will be comfortable for you all with help from fans and the shade from the trees. The rest of the events will take place indoors.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

During our ceremony, we would love for you all to simply enjoy our moment with us. We will have several talented photographers and videographers hard at work capturing everything, and we'd be more than happy to share after the wedding. Feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like during the reception.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be directed to the nearby gallery and tent spaces where we will be serving refreshments.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. You will be missed!

What happens if I don't RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, attendance to the wedding is by invitation only. If your RSVP is not received then your name will not be listed on the sheet checked by venue staff upon arrival. Please be sure to RSVP by mail or online to ensure that you will be counted for the event.
