It was May of 2015 and our mutual friends decided to set us up at a Memorial Day Barbecue. Tara could tell something was up by the way her friends were acting, but she let her guard down once she tasted the brisket. One week later and we found ourselves eating Sushi and talking about our dreams on our first date.

In the fall of 2018, Justin hid an engagement ring in the cutout of a book of poetry he gave to Tara. She said yes (obviously)! And they immediately got in the car and celebrated for the weekend during a surprise trip to Disneyland.
