We are taking care of all the reservations and cost; so you do not need to make any arrangements on your own. Hotel information will be updated on the "travel" section of this website soon.
We are going to provide more detailed information soon on this page. We are going to leave the mornings free so you can enjoy the hotel breakfast and rest or do other independent activities you may enjoy. Most of our group activities will be in the afternoon and night time.
• Brazilians are warm, social, and usually very friendly to visitors. • Portuguese is the official language — English is not widely spoken outside tourist areas, so translation apps can help. • Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s helpful to carry a small amount of cash in Brazilian currency (Reais) that can obtain at exchange business. • Uber is common, affordable, and usually the easiest way to get around. • Avoid carrying valuables openly or walking around distracted with your phone in busy areas. • July is winter in Brazil, but Rio temperatures are usually mild. Bring light clothes plus a sweater or jacket for evenings. It should be a low temperature of 60 degrees and a high of 74 degrees. • Tap water is not always recommended for visitors — bottled or filtered water is usually preferred. • Public restrooms are not as common as in the U.S., so plan ahead when sightseeing. • Brazilian outlets are different from the U.S. so we will provide you an adapter upon arriving. • Personal space can be different from what you’re used to — Brazilians often greet with hugs or cheek kisses.
We carefully planned our menu with each of you in mind. Our buffet will feature both American and Brazilian dishes for you to enjoy and experience. Make yourself at home! 🇺🇸🇧🇷 We will have an open bar with a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. An alcoholic option will also be available — please feel free to ask the waitstaff if you would like some. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies.
• We kindly ask you to keep your phone on silent during the ceremony to avoid any interruptions or inconveniences. • During the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like! We just kindly ask you to keep your flash turned off. • The reception for guests begins at 4:00 PM. We kindly count on your punctuality. Please arrive on time, enjoy our appetizers, and bless us with your presence on this very special day for us.
Your presence is our greatest gift! There is no need to bring us anything besides your wonderful presence — having you celebrate with us is our greatest joy! 💙
