We met where all classy couples meet...a bar! Picture this: cute blonde girl sitting at the end of a bar. Smug Italian boy tries to woo her with cheesy pick up lines. Girl is CLEARLY uninterested. Boy is SEVERELY persistent. Long story short, they have their first date 3 days later at the local comedy club and the rest is history!

It was June 2019; Justin had just finished earning his MBA and Staci was a month from starting radiology school. Justin suggests the perfect way to celebrate was to take a trip to Colorado and visit our favorite lake in the mountains, Lake Haiyaha; the same lake we hiked 10,000 feet to get to 2 years prior. Great idea! Little did the happy couple realize, is that The Rocky Mountains just got 15 feet of snow. Aside from what the locals were telling us, we decided to make the hike anyways. About halfway up, ski poles and all, Justin decides we should turn around and go back down. Staci, being the stubborn girl that she is, says “you drug me up here, we aren’t turning back now, I am seeing that lake!” With a few slips along the way, we finally made it! We cracked open a couple of beers and enjoyed the gorgeous view! All of the sudden Justin gets down on one knee and proposes in a place that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Not to mention he got the whole thing on video ;)
