Jess and Shelbie met in Grade 4 and have been the best of friends ever since. From sleepovers, to trips to BC, to graduation and now on to raising babies and weddings, they have been through it all together. The wedding day would not be complete without Jess's unforgettable presence.

Justin & Gord met at the Penhold Fire Department and bonded over a love for the fire services. Although Gord and his family have since moved north to the Grande Prairie area, they have always kept in touch and shown up for each other when it matters. Gord has always been a mentor and friend to Justin and couldn't imagine anyone else as his Best Man
Amanda Korthius
Bridesmaid
Amanda is Shelbie's Sister-in-law and they clicked instantly when they met. Amanda lives in BC so although they don't get to see each other often, they keep in touch as much as possible. They share a mutual love for all the boys in their lives (Amanda and Ron have all boys too LOL) and when they are together, they don't let a single minute go to waste. They certainly share the bond of sisters and couldn't imagine not sharing these moments together!
Ron Middleton

Ron and Justin are brothers and if they didn't have the 10 year age gap you would think they were twins as they are basically the same personality LOL. Their mutual love for sarcasm, witty banter, fun, work and their families makes these brothers one and the same. Despite living so far apart from each other, they make the most of the time they do have together and are always there for the moments in life that matter. The wedding day would not be complete without Ron at Justin's side.

Alli and Shelbie met at work in the summer of 2022 and became fast friends. Their bond is built on a bed of pure sarcasm, laughter, bullying (the loving kind), and a mutual love for their jobs (most of the time). Since their work days are not complete without each other, the wedding day wouldn't be either.
Jamie Southwell
Groomsman
Jamie & Justin also met at the Penhold Fire Department and clicked instantly. They both have a deep love for Fire Fighting and their bond remained strong even when Jamie moved up to Iqaluit for a short time to pursue more experience in the field. They share a love for sarcasm and video games when time permits and always make time for one another, even if its just a quick phone call. The day would not be complete without Jamie's sense of fun and humor!!
