Our story began in the most unexpected place—serving meals and sharing smiles at Freedom Village of Bradenton. We were just teenagers then, 16 and 17, working in different dining rooms, unaware that something meaningful was quietly beginning. In those early days, we were simply friends. Every now and then, we’d find ourselves stopping by each other’s dining rooms after our shifts, talking and getting to know one another little by little. As time went on, those small moments turned into something more. It wasn’t rushed or dramatic—just a steady, growing connection that felt natural. And before we knew it, friendship turned into something deeper. At 19 and 20, we went on our first date to the Manatee County Fair on January 20, 2018. Surrounded by lights, laughter, and the energy of the fair, something clicked. That night became the beginning of everything. From coworkers to friends, and now soon-to-be husband and wife—our story has been unfolding ever since, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
